Thespians is Wesley Chapel High School's "Drama Honor Society."  We are members of the "International Thespian Society," Troupe #6172.

The International Thespian Society has been around since 1929, and is dedicated to those students that love, and are serious about, theatre.  Many famous performers were Thespians when they were in high school, including: Tom Hanks (Cast Away, The Green Mile), Renee Zellweger (Chicago, Bridget Jones' Diary), Faye Dunaway (Network, Mommie Dearest), Julie Louis-Dreyfuss (Seinfeld), and Dick Van Dyke (Diagnosis: Murder, The Dick Van Dyke Show).

Each year we ...

	Put on a One Act festival that gives dozens of students the opportunity to perform in our beautiful, state-of-the-art Wesley Chapel Center for the Arts.
	Go to Individual Event competitions at the Districts level.  There are events in acting, musical performance, design, playwriting, and directing.
	Produce the Wesley Chapel Independent Film Festival, now entering its NINTH year.
	Produce our Major Play, with auditions open to the entire school.
	Go to the amazing Florida State Thespian Festival which brings together over 6,000 of the strongest theater students from the entire state all together under one roof.
